Just a reminder that there are some great opportunities are out there in the upcoming weeks:
– The Mom-to-Mom Sale at the Elementary School is Sat, Sept 7 from 9am – 1pm. Admission is $1. This is a great opportunity for parents to get some great deals on gently used children’s items. It’s also a great time for grandparents to pick up some toys and extras to have at Grandma’s house for when the little ones visit. Churches – do you need some updated items for the nursery? Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be available. All proceeds benefit the Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
– Chris Potts Memorial Golf Scramble on Saturday, September 14. There are still openings for the morning and afternoon tee times. All proceeds benefit the Chris Potts Memorial Scholarship awarded each Spring to a Continental and Kalida graduate. Contact cmp_inc@hotmail.com for more information.
– Chartered Fishing Trip on Lake Erie will be on Saturday, September 28 sponsored by Dupont Church of the Brethren. – The Continental Fall Festival is just around the corner, September 20, 21, 22. Lots of hardwork and planning goes into this each year to make it a success and there is something for everyone! Check out the full weekend schedule at Fall Festival.
– Van Wert County Bluegrass Festival on Sept 27, 28, 29. Don’t put that camper away yet! A great fall getaway at reasonable prices with local Bluegrass Music at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds. It’s a great time with great music and food!
