February is here, its the first of the month and that means plenty of opportunities to get a good meal and support some local organizations! The Legion Auxiliary, Masonic Temple and Christ United Methodist Church/Circle of Friends Food Pantry thank you for your support.
Saturday, Feb 3: Israel Putnam Masonic Temple in Continental will host their Commiunity Breakfast Buffet. Dine-in or carry-out, cost is by donation. Ham, cheesy hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy & biscuits are on the menu with an assortment of extras. Servings starts at 7:30.
Sunday, Feb 4: American Legion Auxiliary Unit 541 will serve up their 1st Sunday of the Month lunch. Beef cubed steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, dinner roll and dessert. $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. Dine-in or carry-out, serving starts at 10:30. If you can’t make it to the lunch, the Canteen is open on Sundays, noon to 8pm with a limited menu.
Wednesday, Feb 7: Christ United Methodist Church will host their 1st Wednesday Community Lunch. Serving starts at 11:30 and cost is by donation. Dine-in or carry-outs available. On the menu: ham, cheesy postatoes, green beans/corn, dinner roll and dessert. All monies in the donation box go directly to our local Circle of Friends Food Pantry!
