Although the rains came down the people still showed up. Friday evening started with the Continental Pirates varsity boys soccer team hosting the Kalida Wildcats in a PCL match-up. The Wildcats took home the victory 4-3.
Meanwhile back on Main Street, the crowds are enjoying the chili cook-off – the Prowant Clan took first place, South of Town Chili took second and Firehouse Chili took third. Folks are also enjoying the Free Christian Church’s baked potato bar, the food vendors in the EMS building, good music at Wollam’s and are eagerly awaiting Nashville Crush, which will be playing in the big tent at 9:00.
The evening is still young so come to town and get the fireman’s french fries, the OES’s fried pies and much, much more .
