A young entrepreneur has chosen Main Street, Continental for his new and unique start-up business. Jacob Fry is a 2011 CHS graduate and the owner of Jake’s Place Wholesale. This new store in town is located in the former Pirate’s Den building at the corner of Main and Rice streets and opened for business on June 2, 2014. Jake’s Place offers a wide variety of inventory – generators, mowers, small kitchen appliances, juicers, waffle makers, blow dryers, curling irons, cribs, toys, furniture, tools, building supplies, bath tubs, sinks, exercise equipment and much more. The merchandise is return sourced from Amazon and Home Depot with new shipments arriving approximately every 3 weeks.Jake’s Place Wholesale will be holding its first auction on Tuesday, July 22nd. The auction will start at 5:30pm (store opens at noon). Current plans are to clear inventory at 6 week intervals to make room for new incoming stock. The following items are on the auction list for July 22nd (All items pending. May be sold prior to auction):
Baby Items: cribs, beds, changing tables, swing, jogging stroller, etc.
Exercise Equipment: elliptical, recumbent bike, exercise bike, exercise rower, adjustable dumbbells.
Children: RC cars, playhouse, mansion dollhouse, girl bikes, small toys, etc.
Outdoor: propane fire pit, glass fireplace (indoor/outdoor), push mowers, air compressor, tile cutter, miter saw, drain snake, reciprocating saw, hand tools.
Utilities: bathtubs, sinks, toilet bowls, toilet seats.
Kitchen: Keurigs, other coffee pots, juicers, Kitchen Aid food processor, Nutri Bullets.
Furniture: dresser, cabinet, TV stands, desks, kitchen islands, mirror, medicine cabinets, club chair, vanity, sink vanities, security cabinet.
Misc: blow dryers, straighteners, curling irons, closet organizers, electric fireplace, printers, fans, portable AC…and more!
