On Thursday, December 3 from 10 am to 1 pm, students from Continental Local Schools will join Rick Small of Mix 98.1 for the “Christmas For Kids” live drive in the H & K showroom on Main Street. In years past, the kindergarten students did extra chores around home to earn money for the “Christmas for Kids” program. This year the whole school was involved with a “Donuts to Dollars” challenge. The total raised by the students was $3100. They will be presenting their donation to Rick during the radio broadcast at H & K. Christmas music will be provided by the High School band, Middle School choir, and the Elementary show choir. Everyone is invited to join in the festivities to support the students and Putnam County’s “Christmas for Kids”! If you can’t be there in person, tune in to 98.1 between 10 am and 1 pm and listen to the celebration.
