Beautiful fall mum plants were on sale today and will be on sale tomorrow to help a young boy purchase a lifesaving friend – a diabetic alert dog. We received a note with an update from Grandma Deb Good:
Landon and his family moved to the Cincinnati area over the summer shortly before school started. He has not gotten his D.A.D. yet because the company they were going to get the dog from has quit training diabetic alert dogs. His mom, Jessica, is starting the research process all over again and then will get Landon’s name on a waiting list. The cost is anywhere in the the range of $15,000 – $25,000 depending on where they can find a reputable D.A.D. trainer. Thank you to everyone for your support and as soon as Landon gets his lifesaving best friend we will let everyone know. Also a huge thank you to Norma Fitzwater for all she has done to get this fundraiser going as I guess we just didn’t have enough faith that much money could be raised! Our hearts are overjoyed at how loving and kind our little communities in Northwest Ohio are!
Thank you for supporting this cause – there will be more flowers on Sunday!
