Continental Girls Varsity traveled to Fort Jennings on Thursday night in a Putnam County League Basketball matchup. Fort Jennings took a 7 point lead after one, 12-5. An even second quarter left the score 23-16 at half. The Musketeers outscored the Pirates by 3 in the third quarter 13-10 for a 36-26 lead after three. The Musketeers won the last quarter and the game. Musketeers 47, Pirates 32.
The Pirates were led in scoring by Amber Logan with 12 (one 3 pointer) and Jade Zachrich with 8. Paige Lawhorn put in 6 (one 3 pointer) while Ashely Mansfield had 2 and Alivia Homier had 1.
The Musketeers improve to 3-12 , 1-2 in the PCL. The Pirates fall to 1-12, 0-3 in the PCL. The Pirates travel to Leipsic on Saturday in another PCL matchup.
