Thursday night saw a tight game in the first quarter turn for host Fort Jennings in the second quarter as they took the Putnam County League game against Continental. The Musketeers took a close first quarter 8-7 and then it was all Musketeers in the second. The Musketeers put in 17 points in the second quarter to the Pirates 3. Musketeers 27-10 at half. The Pirates almost kept pace with the Musketeers in the third quarter but it was Fort Jennings who won the quarter by 1. Musketeers 37-19. The final quarter was low scoring but still went to the Orange and Black. Musketeeers 45-23 final.
Ashlyn Dudgeon led the Pirates with 9 points while Makenzie Shock added 8. Olivia Crossgrove put in 3, Mallorie Barnhart 2, and Morgan Shock 1. Makenzie made the only 3 pointer for the Pirates. Olivia Crossgrove added to her Pirate season leading total of blocks with 11 and also had 4 assists. Mackenzie Shock had 4 steals.
Continental falls to 0-14 (0-4 PCL) and will be Leipsic on Saturday for another PCL game. Fort Jennings improves to 3-13 (1-3 PCL).
