A big 3rd quarter by visiting Fort Jennings proved to be the difference Thursday night when they played at Continental in a Putnam County League matchup. The Musketeers took the first quarter by 8, 15-7. A close second quarter also went to the Musketeers 10-7. Musketeers 25-14 at half. It was all Musketeers in the third quarter as they put 17 onto their total while the Pirates added 4. Musketeers 42-18 after 3. A hard fought 4th quarter saw both teams score 10 points. Musketeers 52-28.
Olivia Crossgrove led the Pirates with 8 points. Ava Sheeter and Kamryn Searfoss both scored 5 points and each hit a 3 point shot. Morgan Shock, Kenzie Searfoss, and Ashlyn Dudgeon all scored 3 points. Becca Stark added a point.
Continental falls to 1-12 (0-3 PCL) and will host Leipsic on Saturday in a PCL battle. Fort Jennings improves to 6-9 (3-2 PCL).
