A depleted Continental High Girls Varsity Basketball team traveled to the House of Heat on Christmas Eve Eve to take on a hot Patrick Henry. It was all Patriots as they put in the only points in the first quarter. Patriots 24-0 after 1. The second quarter saw the Pirates put in a pair of free throws while the Patriots added 27 to their lead. Patriots 51-2 at half. A slower game pace in the second half saw the Pirates put up 4 points on a 3 and a free throw while the Patriots were held to 10. 61-6 after 3. The Patriots scored the only points in the fourth. Patriots 71-6 final.
Ashlyn Dudgeon led the Pirates with 3 points. Morgan Shock scored 2 and Brystol Fitzwater scored 1. The Patriots made three 3 pointers while the Pirates made 1.
Continental falls to 1-9 and will host Miller City on Friday January 3. Patrick Henry improves to 7-1.
