The 2023 OHSAA Girls Basketball Tournament Draw will be held this Sunday while the Boys will be held next Sunday. This year Northwest Ohio Districts will be using Martin RPI to seed teams. Teams will still place themselves in brackets in order of their seeding.
Continental Girls Varsity are assigned to the DIV Ottawa Glandorf District. Currently Putnam County League teams are in the top 3 spots with Leipsic, Kalida and Columbus Grove. Leipsic is currently sitting at the #1 spot in the District, #3 in the Region, and #11 in State RPI . Leipsic is ranked #14 in the DIV AP poll. 6 of the teams in the OG District have winning records they will be vying for the 5 byes in the 11 team district. Continental currently stands at #10 in the Ottawa Glandorf District Martin RPI standing.
Top teams in other districts that are assigned to the DIV Northwest Regional are Ostego District Toledo Christian (#1 Region/#4 State), Defiance District Crestview (#2 Region/#7 State) and Fostoria District Mohawk (#11 Region/#33 State).
