Crestview traveled to the Cove on Monday night and set the tone early as they held the Pirates to a total of 9 points in the first half while scoring 42. Crestview opened up the first quarter by outscoring the Pirates 18-5. The second had the Pirate struggles continue as the Knights added 24 to their total to the Pirates 4. The Pirates outscored the Knights by 3, 18-15 for a Knight 57-23 advantage after three quarters. The Knights regained the advantage in the fourth, outscoring the Pirates by 3 for a 74-41 Knight final.
Amber Logan lead the Pirates with 16 points (one 3 pointer). Ashley Mansfield contributed 7 (one 3 pointer) while Paige Lawhorn and Alivia Homier had 4 each. Jaylen Armey added 2 points.
Continental falls to 1-10 while Crestview improves to 6-3. The Pirates host Ottoville on Thursday night in Putnam County League matchup.
