Tuesday night Continental Girls Varsity had a great start against host Ayersville only to have the Pilots dominate the game in the last 3 quarters. The Pirates jumped out to a 10-7 lead. The second quarter was all Pilots as they poured in 17 to the Pirates 3. Pilots 24-13 at half. The Pirate offense picked up in the third quarter by putting in 9 points but the Pilots would win the third by 9, Pilots 42-22 after 3. It was all Pilots to finish the game. Pilots 51-24 final.
Bryn Tegenkamp led the Pirates with 11 points, Olivia Logan put in 7 points. Makenzie Shock, Macie Cordes and Ashlyn Dudgeon all had 2 each. The Pirates put in three 3 pointers. Logan made two 3s and Tegenkamp 1. The Pilots put in 4.
Continental falls to 3-19 and will travel to Kalida on Thursday for a Putnam County League game. Ayersville improves to 15-5.
