In only five innings, the Lady Pirates sealed the deal to become Division IV Sectional Softball Champs in an 11-0 win over Columbus Grove.
Pitcher Leva Weller picked up the win, striking out four and allowing only two hits. Weller also tallied a home run, two singles, and six RBI’s. Alex Quigley hit a double and a single. Taylor Williamson hit two singles, stole two bases, and scored two runs.
The Lady Pirates will travel to Elida on Wednesday, 5/22 to play Lincolnview at 5pm in the district semi finals.
