On Tuesday Continental Local Girls Soccer team traveled to Fort Jennings for a Putnam County League opener for both teams. It was the Pirates who emerged from the game with the 1-0 league record as the Pirates outscored the Musketeers 3-0. Maddie Burke had 2 goals for the Pirates while Kayden Centers put in her first goal of the year.
Ali Scott recorded the shutout for the Pirates in the goal.
Continental improves to 2-2 (1-0 PCL) and will travel to Defiance on Saturday. Fort Jennings falls to 0-4.
