Tuesday night saw Continental High Girls Basketball struggle against Ayersville in a non league battle. The host Pirates saw the Pilots take an early advantage 13-4 after 1. The second quarter had the Pilots with a similar 9 point advantage. Pilots 25-7 at half. A pair of Kamryn Searfoss 3’s provided the Pirates with 6 points while the Pilots added 22 to their total. Pilots 37-13 after 3. The Pilots took the 4th 14 -3. Pilots 51-16 final.
Kamryn Searfoss led the Pirates with 8 points including two 3s. Ava Sheeter added 5 points. Macie Clemens scored 2. Olivia Crossgrove had 1 point. The Pirates made two 3 pointers to the Pilots 1.
Continental falls to 1-10 and will travel to Ottoville on Thursday night for a Putnam County League game. Ayersville improves to 3-9.
