Continental High Girls struggled to make a basket and Wayne Trace had a strong second half on Tuesday in a non league game played at the Cove. The Raiders took the first quarter 9-4. The Pirates battled back and took the second quarter 10-8 to make it a 3 point Raider lead at half. Wayne Trace 17-14. The third quarter had the Raiders doubling up on the Pirates 14-7, Raiders 31-21 after 3. The Raider took the fourth quarter and the game. Raiders 47-26 final.
Bryn Tegenkamp led the Pirates with 9 points while Jensen Armey and Reese Knowles both put in 6. Continental did not make a 3 point shot while the Raiders put in 2.
Continental will travel to Miller City on Saturday (2/5) – this is the second re-scheduled date . Wayne Trace improves to 7-10.
