Friday night Continental faced a schedule change when the original game at Crestview was cancelled (due to having a league makeup game) and instead travelled to Lincolnview. It was all Lancers as Pirate defensive issues led to all the runs scored being unearned. The Lancers put up 3 runs in the bottom of the first and 6 more in the bottom of the second to take a 9-0 lead. Three more runs by the Lancers in the third finished the nights scoring. Lancers 11-0 final.
Ava Homier and Gracie Homier both hit singles. Gracie Homier took the loss going 4 innings giving up 11 runs (0 earned) on 9 hits and 8 strikeouts. The Pirates committed 7 errors. Continental falls to 8-2 and will host Holgate on Monday. Lincolnview improves to 9-3.
