Lincolnview High Softball showed no effects from the travel to Continental as they opened up the game by scoring 7 runs. The Pirates would battle back with a run in the bottom of half to make it 6-1. That would also be it for the Pirates scoring. Meanwhile the Lancers managed a single run in the second, three runs in the third and fourth and finished the games scoring with a pair of runs in the fifth. Lancers 16, Pirates 1.
Mckenzie Rayle, Kennedy Hiltner, and Jessica Stauffer all had a pair of hits for the Pirates. Tygre Troyer picked up the decision for the Pirates as she recorded a pair of strikeouts in 5 innings.
Continental falls to 1-3 and hosts Tinora on Monday. Lincolnview improves to 5-1.
