From the Auxiliary: Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you who supported our first Sunday of the month meals this season. You have helped to support many military families, veterans, youth and our community and you are appreciated! See you again in October!
Fish Fry: The Lenten Fish Fry will continue through Good Friday, April 19. Meals are $8 for fish or frog legs, baked potato, house-made slaw, applesauce and roll. Carry-outs available. Dine-in is all you can eat. Serving starts at 5pm.
Chili Cook-Off: Thank you to all who supported the Legion’s Chili Cook-off! Peoples Choice was Teresa Rau’s “Thunder in Your Pants” chili and Judge’s Choice was made by Chef Denny Ordway. Congratulations! The money raised from this event went to Relay for Life.
Special Note: Post 541 Legion Auxiliary will have their group picture that was taken at the 2019 Membership Ball featured in the national publication of the American Legion Auxiliary magazine’s May edition – such an honor!
