There were 19 senior citizens from our community that met with representatives from the Putnam County Health Department this morning in the basement of Christ United Methodist Church. Trae Gulgin and Andrew Burwell used the open forum to get responses to a Health Assessment survey for Putnam County residents over age 65. It was an honor to be asked to be part of a focus group to improve the lives and health of seniors in our county. The group offered many concerns and suggestions with the hopes that the data collected today will become new programs in the future. Thank you to all who took the time to be a part of this project!
