If you’ve read the minutes of the Continental Village Council meetings, you may be aware that our community will have a different look. Plans have been in the works for a few years to update the water system by putting up a new water tower and dismantle the old one. That time has come and the tower behind the town hall will most likely be gone by the weekend. I have been told that back in their glory days, bold teenage boys climbed the tower to see the view from way up high – one could see as far as Oakwood. Unfortunately, they could also see the not-to-happy town cop waiting at the bottom for them! Is that right Tom?!
