Continental’s Ashley Mansfield was named to the Northwest Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Division III Girls Second Team. Ashley is a Junior. Also garnering all district honors for the Pirates were Senior Amelia Weller and Juniors Paige Lawhorn and Blaire Tegenkamp as Honorable Mention.
Kalida’s Brittney Kahle and Fort Jennings Brandi Kaskel were the only Putnam County League girls on the first team.
Junior Dean Krendl led the Pirates in District honors by placing on the Northwest Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Division III Boys Second Team. Juniors Jacob Williamson and Trevor Williamson along with Sophomore Christian Keller were named District Honorable Mention.
Fort Jennings Alex Berelsman was named District Division III player of the year. He was joined on the First Team with teammate Troy Ricker, and other Putnam County League players Kalida Jordan Kortokrax, Miller City Jackson Lammers, and Ottoville Jared Fanning. Ottoville was awarded the Division III Team Sportsmanship Award.
