Continental Elementary had a wonderful day on May, 25. The rain held off as the staff, students, and volunteers spent the day having fun and raising money for the American Cancer Society. The annual mini Relay for Life was held on Wednesday. The students were fortunate enough to be able to make a banner of Hope, have their face painted, make a bracelet with beads that represented the colors of the various cancers, learn about the history of the Relay for Life, and have a nice picnic lunch! Continental Elementary would not be able to donate the $1700 to the American Cancer Society without the help of all the volunteers in the community!
