Miriam (Mim) Elkins is a life long resident of Continental, and a four time cancer survivor. Most recently she had her 3rd mouth surgery and spent 6 weeks away from her family undergoing radiation treatments in Columbus. Mim is also unable to work during this time.
Mim enjoys crocheting, painting, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family and friends. Mim has a heart as big as all outdoors and faith that could move mountains.
We all know how fast medical expenses, medication and financial bills can add up, so we invite you to join us in celebrating Mim and help relieve some of the financial burden while she continues to “conquer the dragon”.
Here is a flyer for the event. If anyone is willing to make donations or donate a raffle item please get contact Tammy Leatherman Weller or Leva and they will make arrangements. 😊 $10 cover charge at the door will get you 2 drink tickets and a chicken dinner. There will be lots of raffle prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Come join us on Saturday, October 12 and the Continental American Legion!
