A few of items of interest from the November 8th Continental village council meeting:
– Blue Harvest Solar Farm, currently in the construction phase on the southwest side of town, will provide the Continental Volunteer Fire Department approximately $5000 for training on responding to a fire in a solar field.
– Paving on Road E16 was completed this week.
– Village leaf drop off is now open at the old sewage plant north of town. Leaves and brush are acceptable (keeps the leaves out of the storm drains). The village does not offer leaf collection.
