Continental High Baseball Coach Jordan Streicher has to be happy with the OHSAA Baseball Division IV Patrick Henry District draw results as there are 2 teams in the district ranked in state and neither of them are in the Pirates path to the District final. As #12 seed the Pirates did not have options on placement in the draw so the Pirates will open their tournament road at #5 seed Delphos St Johns. The winner of that game will then play at #3 seed Ayersville. #1 seed Leipsic was ranked #9 in the latest Division IV Ohio State Baseball Coaches Association poll while #2 seed Lincolnview was ranked #10. Those two teams both claimed byes but put themselves on the same side of the bracket for a District Semifinal game. #3 seed Ayersville and #4 seed Patrick Henry took the remaining byes.
All sectional games are held at the better seeded sites and will have an admission fee. The winner of the Patrick Henry District advances to the Elida Regional to face the winner of the Findlay District. The other side of the Elida Regional had the Coldwater and Bryan Districts matching off.
