Only one week of games left till the seeding meeting for the OHSAA Boys Basketball DVII Elida District but there is potential for lots of changes before the February 9th meeting. Seeding is using the MAXPreps scoring system that uses a weighted system of 40% winning percentage, 40% opponents winning percentage and 20% opponents opponents winning percentage. Currently Miller City is in line for the top seed with a 14-4 record but Ottoville 12-6 and Fort Jennings 13-5 are also in the hunt. Kalida is seeded 4th 10-7, Pandora Gilboa 5th 9-7 and Leipsic 8-8 with all three have the potential to move up in seeding. Cory Rawson is currently 7th seed 3-13 and Continental 8th 1-16 and Holgate 0-16 fill out the field.
Sectional games will be held between February 17-22 with District games being held at Elida between February 24- March 1. The Sectional games will be held at the better seeded site with 9 teams in the District there will one Sectional Semifinal.
