With 12 teams in the OHSAA DIV Volleyball District only 4 byes to Sectional finals are available. The good news is there are only 3 OHSVCA ranked DIV 4 teams in the field so one teams path to district may avoid a ranked team. The 3 ranked teams, #3 Crestview, #8 Leipsic, and #16 Miller City are a combined 39-5. They are not the only teams enjoying winning seasons as there are 5 more teams in the field (so 2/3rd) have winning records. A strong contingent from the Putnam County league with winning records beside Leipsic and Miller City are Continental, Kalida, and Ottoville. Patrick Henry and Lincolnview are the other teams above 500.
Sectional draw is October 8th. Sectionals will be October 17 and 19 at the better seeded site. Districts are October 24 and 26 at Van Wert High school
