District draw for the OHSAA Division IV Van Wert District Volleyball tournament will take place on Sunday. Van Wert District features the top 3 teams in the North West Conference — Crestview, Lincolnview and Leipsic along with Putnam County League teams with winning records — Miller City, and Ottoville in a field that has 12 teams. Those 5 teams will be vying for the 4 byes into the sectional finals. The rest of the field will be looking to getting home field advantage in the sectional semifinals.
Sectional games are hosted by the better seeded team and will be held: Semifinals on Tuesday, October 18 and Finals Thursday, October 20. District games will be held Van Wert High school with Semifinal on Tuesday October 25 and Finals on Thursday October 27.
