
Kalida earned the #3 seed but got treated like the #1 seed as teams avoided them in the OHSAA DVII Elida District Boys Basketball draw. The Wildcats already clinched at least a share of the Putnam County League title and if they win on Friday will be sole title holder. After #1 seed Miller City placed themself in the upper bracket so did #2 seed Ottoville. #4 seed Fort Jennings took the home game along side Kalida in the bottom portion of the bracket. #8 seed Continental will play at #7 seed Cory Rawson in the only Sectional Semifinal on Tuesday February 18. The winner of the Sectional Semifinal will travel to #1 seed Miller City for the Sectional Final. Sectional finals will be held on Friday February 21. District games will take place at Elida on Thursday February 27 with finals on Saturday March 1. Winner of the Elida District will advance to the Elida Regional Semifinal playing the Lima Senior District winner. Regional finals will be held at BGSU.
