The draw for the OHSAA Girls Basketball tournament was held on Sunday with the Pirates being in the Archbold Division IV District. The #11 seeded Pirates will play #7 seeded Ayersville in the opening game at Bryan on Feb 21. By the time the sectional semifinal takes place the Pirates will have played the Pilots twice, one just 8 days prior in a regular season matchup on Feb 13. The first meeting of the Pilots and Pirates was on December 28 in the opening round of the Ayersville Holiday Tournament where the Pilots prevailed in a close 39-32 decision. The winner of the Pirate – Pilot matchup will take on #2 seeded Stryker in the sectional final on Saturday Feb 24.
Wayne Trace was seeded #1 at the Archbold Regional with #3 seed Holgate and #4 Pettisville all taking sectional semifinal byes.

At the Ottawa Glandorf Division IV District Putnam County League teams were seed 1,2,3 with Ottoville garnering the #1, Columbus Grove #2 seed, and Kalida #3 seed. Leipsic received the #1 seed at the Liberty Benton Division IV Disrtict.
Ottawa Glandorf was the #1 seed in the Division III Elida District.
