Ranked volleyball teams – this District has two. Conference leaders – this district has four. The Ottawa Glandorf Volleyball District is highlighted by OSVCA #3 ranked McComb Panthers. McComb currently leads the Blanchard Valley Conference with a 17-1 record. Leipsic, Putnam County League leader, stands at #12 in the state poll and is currently 12-2. Ada is leading the Northwest Conference and has a 10-5 record. Hardin-Northern has a 13-2 record and is tied for the Northwest Central Conference lead.
That makes four teams with winning records to start with add on Kalida 11-4, Pandora-Gilboa 10-5, and Continental 9-8 who do not lead their league and you have better than half the teams with winning records. The 13 team field will have 3 team getting first round byes so seeding will be important.
The sectional rounds will be held at the higher seeded teams home court. Sectionals will be held on October 18 and 20. District games will be played at Ottawa Glandorf on October 25 and 27. District Draw is on Sunday October 9. The winner of the Ottawa Glandorf winner will take on the winner of the Fostoria District in the Elida Regional Semifinal on November 2 at 6 pm.
