Three CHS athletes competed in the Regional Track and Field Meet in Tiffin this past week. Chaz Slattman in the discus and shot, Dallas Geckle in the 300 hurdles, and Paige Ordway in the long jump and 300 hurdles. Preliminary events were held on Wednesday, 5/29. Ordway placed first in her heat in the 300 hurdles and Slattman advanced on to finals in the shot.
In the final events on Friday, Paige Ordway placed second in the 300 hurdles and will advance on to the State Track and Field Meet. She will run in the prelims on Friday, 6/7 at 11:20am at the Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on The Ohio State University campus. Ordway’s race results will be posted on the eNews homepage under the “Continental Sports Feed”.
