At Continental Elementary school, Mrs. Swager’s 4th grade students recently read the book “Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes”, a story about a young Japanese girl who died after the dropping of the bomb on Hiroshima. She tried to make 1000 paper cranes before she died. Students made paper cranes when they finished the book.
