Host Ottoville put runs on the board in their last 2 at bats to take the Putnman County League Baseball against against Continental on Tuesday. The Big Green opened up a 2-0 in the bottom of the first only to have the Pirates tie the game in the top of the fourth at 2 all. The Big Green would plate 4 runs in the bottom of the fifth and 5 in the sixth while holding the Pirates scoreless to take the 11-2 decision.
Nick States took the decision for the Pirates while Blake Elkins also pitched. The Pirates had 3 hits with Brady Dockery and Blake Elkins hitting doubles for the Pirates.
Continental moves to 4-9 (1-4 PCL) and will host Ayersville on Friday. Ottoville improves to 4-7 (2-2 PCL)
On Monday Continental hosted Miller City (game moved due to field conditions). The Wildcats took this game 14-4.
