Although its been Sparling Park since 1886, mostly it was just known as “the park on Main Street”. On February 1, 2024 a new sign was erected at the park with the offical name on it. There have been many upgrades made to Sparling Park in recent years with more to come. Per the Continental Village Council Meeting minutes there are also plans to move the charcoal grills and add a sidewealk from the shelter house to the bathroom. Its a great looking sign!
