The Packs for Pirates Weekend Bounty is a weekend food program for students in K-6 at Continental Elementary School. Participating students, selected based on need, will receive a pack of food each Friday starting in April during the school year. Each bag will consist of 2 breakfast items, 2 lunch items and 2 dinner items designed to bridge the gap until students return to school where they are guaranteed to receive the nutrition they need.
While the organization is currently looking for financial support to fund the program through sponsors and individual donations, fundraising events are also being conducted. It is estimated the program will cost approximately $12,600 for a full school year. Area churches have been asked to assist with the Texas Roadhouse Dinner Rolls Fundraiser.
What: Texas Roadhouse Rolls (dozen, come frozen) and 3 oz. cinnamon butter
When: Start selling on Sunday, February 28, 2016; collecting money when orders are taken. Orders turned in on Thursday, March 17, 2016.
Pick Up: Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Continental Elementary School
Cost: $6 dozen rolls; $2 for an additional 4oz cinnamon butter
Packs for Pirates Weekend Bounty will receive 50% of all sales from this fundraiser. Texas Roadhouse Dinner Rolls will arrive just in time for Easter celebrations!
