Shelby Collier with a first place finish in the pole vault led the Continental Junior High Track Teams at the Putnam County League Meet on Wednesday at Columbus Grove. The Pirates Girls team finished 7th as a team in the 9 team event (Continental, Ottoville, Leipsic, Kalida, Columbus Grove, Pandora-Gilboa, Ottawa, Glandorf, and St. Peter and Paul). The Pirates got 3 second place finishes from Tygre Troyer (100) and Shot Put, and the 4×200 Relay
The Pirate Boys also finished 7th in the field as they double placed in two events. Ben Wagner was second in the 400 and Reed Warnement was 5th. Curtis Mansfield was second in the Discus and Issac Gibbs was 5th. All three of the Pirate relay teams garnered points.
