The first Pirate game in the new hangar at Ayersville did not go the Pirate way on Thursday. The VolleyPirates did open up Continental’s first visit to the new school by taking the first game 25-21. A hard fought second game went to the Pilots by an identical 25-21 score. The third game had the Pilots winning 25-18. The fourth game also went to the Pilots 25-18.
Kenndy Hiltner had 41 digs for the Pirates. Jessica Stauffer had 22 assists, 16 digs, and 6 kills. Brooke Bradford had 14 digs and 13 kills. Madelyn Potts had 11 digs and 9 kills.
Continental is now 3-9 and hosted Fayette on Satuday. Ayersville moves to 11-2.
