Ayersville 15, Continental 1
Ayersville (11-6) took control of the game in the second as they scored 6 in the bottom of the second and finished with 8 in the bottom of the fourth. The Pirates (2-9) managed a single run in the fourth. Continental was held to 2 hits on the game. Paige Thomas took the loss for the Pirates.
Miller City 2, Continental 1 (8 innings) – Monday
Close by no cigar as the Pirates (2-10, 1-3 PCL) hosted the league leading Wildcats (11-1, 5-0 PCL). Both teams scored early and it took an extra inning to decide the victor. Fred Shepard took the loss for the Pirates as he limited the Wildcats to 4 hits. Saige Deleon hit two singles for the Pirates as part of the Pirates 6 hit attack.
Ottoville 5, Continental 0 – Thursday
The Pirate (2-11, 1-4 PCL) hit brigade was held to just two hits in the PCL home game against the Big Green. Terry Dockery III and Paige Thomas had the lone singles in the loss. Fred Shepard took the loss for the Pirates as he limited the Big Green to 4 hits and 1 earned run in 5 innings.
