Host Kalida High Baseball came into the Putnam County League game against Continental with a OHBCA DIV 21 rating. The Wildcats did not do anything to dispute that rating on Tuesday. The Wildcats opened up the game by plating single runs in the bottom of the first and second. Wildcats 2-0. The Wildcats would score 3 in the bottom of the third and fourth to take an 8-0 lead. A pair of runs in bottom of the fifth ended the game. Wildcats plated a total of 10 runs to win the game.
Ethan Sullivan pitched the complete game for the Pirates and had 3 strikeouts. Continental will host Ayersville on Friday. Kalida improves to 12-4 (6-0 PCL).
