The OHSAA Northwest District kept the Kalida Division III Boys Soccer District the same as last year. In 2016 Bluffton advanced out of the Kalida District only to be taken out in the Regional Semifinal by Mansfield Christian. The District field includes all the teams from the Putnam County League. Allen East, Bluffton, Lincolnview, Paulding and Spencerville from the Northwest Conference and Licnolnview, Lima Temple, and Lima Central Catholic from the West Ohio Soccer League.
Sectional games will be held at the better seeded site on October 17 and 21. District games will be played on October 24 and 28.
Fellow Putnam County team Ottawa-Glandorf has been moved down from Division II to Division III this year. The Titans last played in Division III in 2010. They will play in the Rossford District.
