After 68 minutes of scoreless soccer at Fort Jennings it looked like the PCL game was destined for a tie. Freshman Tyler Brecht put an end to those thoughts with a Pirate goal at the 11:18 mark in the second half. Pirate goalie Trevor Williamson finished the Muskies off with stellar goal play. Pirates win 1-0. Pirates move to 2-0 in the PCL and 5-1 overall while the Muskies are 0-1-1 in the PCL and 1-4-1 overall.
The Pirates will next travel to Ottoville (4-0-1 overall, 0-0 PCL) on Monday for a 7 pm start.
