Continental Junior Mitchell Coleman was named to the Second Team Putnam County League Honors. Coleman led the Pirates this year in scoring with 385 points good for a 16.7 ppg. Sophmore Gavin Huff and Freshman Rhenn Armey were named to the PCL Honorable Mention List. Huff was the second leading scorer for the Pirates with 201 points, 8.7 ppg. Armey was the Pirates point guard and put in 73 points.
The PCL first and second teams were loaded with stars that will be returning for the 20-21 season. All 5 spots on the first team were Juniors with 2 from League Champion Columbus Grove, 2 from league runner up Ottoville, and one from Kalida. The second team has 1 Senior, 3 more Juniors, and two Sophomores. Columbus Grove’s Blake Reynolds was named PCL player of the Year while Bulldogs Coach Chris Sautter was named PCL coach of the Year. The Bulldogs are 23-0 for the season.
