Continental High Junior Bryn Tegenkamp finished off her excellent season by being named to the Putnam County League Second team and Northwest District Honorable Mention. Senior Jensen Armey and Junior Reese Knowles were named Putnam County League Honorable Mention. PCL League Champ Miller City captured both the Player of the Year Award Abi Lammers and Coach of the Year Award Ross Heuerman.
Miller City claimed the PCL title with a 6-1 record, Columbus Grove finished second with at 5-1 and Leipsic finished 3rd at 4-1. Columbus Grove and Leipsic did not play each other.
Continental played in the OHSAA Division IV Van Wert District Bluffton University Sectional. #4 seeded Bluffton High finished off #14 seeded Continental’s season in the Sectional Semifinals 65-30. Bluffton season would end in the Sectional finals as #5 seeded Kalida defeated them 41-36. #2 seed Columbus Grove advanced out of the Van Wert District with a 58-41 win over #1 seed Miller City. Toledo Christian would defeat Columbus Grove in the Elida Regional Semifinal 39-36. New Knoxville would go to State from the Elida Regional and would end up State runners-up as Waterford would claim the DIV title.
Ottawa Glandorf would advance to the Division III Lexington Regional Finals where their season would end with a loss to Worthington Christian 46-43 in overtime. Worthington Christian would end up as State Runners-up as Cincinnati Purcell Marian would claim the title.
