Continental Girls Soccer continued their defense of the Putnam County League as they traveled to Columbus Grove for their first game with Bulldogs. A close first half saw the Pirates have a 2-1 advantage at the break. The second half was all Pirates as all they 3 goals went the Pirates way. Pirates 5 Bulldogs 1.
Alex Hoeffel had 4 goals for the Pirates while Maddie Burke put in the other Pirate goal.
Continental improves to 9-4 (3-0 PCL) and will have their last non league game Monday when Lima Central Catholic comes to town. Columbus Grove falls to 0-8 (0-3 PCL).
