A pair of Continental High Softball players were awarded OHSFSCA DIV All NorthWest District Award. Pitcher Gracie Homier followed up being named 1st team Putnam County League with being named to the DIV Second Team Northwest Ohio. Freshman Homier established a new Pirate record on the mound while batting .470. Senior Reese Knowles was named to the All Northwest District Honorable Mention Roll. Knowles played left field for the Pirates.
The Pirates advanced to district play this year and were eliminated by defending State DIV Runnerup Lincolnview in an Elida District Semifinal game. Both the #6 seed Pirates and #4 seed Miller City represented the PCL in district semifinal play with both bowing out at the district semifials. Linconlview would advance to the Regional Semifinal where eventual State Runner up Hopewell Loudon would eliminate them in a Gibsonburg Regional Semifinal. Three teams from the Northwest District made the State field, Hopewell Loudon (Gibsonburg Regional), Parkway (Northmount Regional) and Gibsonburg (Berea Regional). Stratsburg- Franklin defeated Gibsonburg and Hopewll Loudon to win the State tournament.
