On Saturday Continental High traveled to Ottoville for a season ending regular season Softball game. The Pirates got on the board early as they plated 3 runs in the first. The Big Green made it a 2 run game in the bottom of the first and took the lead in the bottom of the second when they scored 3 additional runs. Big Green 4-3 after 2. The Big Green would push their lead to 11 when they put 8 on the board in the third. Big Green 12-3. The Pirates would only score 1 more run in the last 2 innings while the Big Green would add 4. Big Green 14-4 final.
Ali Scott took the lost for the Pirates. Reese Knowles led the Pirates with a double and 2 RBIs.
Continental ends their season at 2-13 while Ottoville finishes at 3-12.
This marks the end of the Pirate careers for Seniors Letizia Pietro and Madison Burkhart. Thanks for the memories and good luck in your future endeavors.
