Monday night had Continental High Softball vs Lima Central Catholic moved to Faurot Park and it took both teams a while to score. The Pirate broke the scoreless tie in the fourth with a single run. The Pirates made it 2-0 with a run in the top of the fifth. The TBirds got one on the board in the fifth. Pirates 2-1 after 5. It was then all Pirates as they plated 2 in the sixth and 4 in the seventh. Pirates 8-1 Final.
Mallorie Barnhart led the Pirates offense with a pair of doubles, a walk, 2 runs scored and 2 stolen bases. Gracie Homier had a double, single, 2 runs scored and a stolen base. Ryley Winkle had 2 singles, scored and drove in a run. Ava Homier hit 2 singles and stole a base. Maeci Dockery got a hit, walked and drove in a pair of runs. Kenzie Searfoss got a hit, walked, stole a base, and drove in a run. Leah Searfoss walked, scored and drove in a run. Kimberly Grant got a hit and stole 2 bases. Becca Sullivan walked twice. Mackenzie Niese scored twice and stole 2 bases.

Gracie Homier picked up the complete game win in the circle. Homier went 7 innings giving up 1 run on 3 hits, 12 strikeouts, and 1 walk. The Pirates and Tbirds both committed 3 errors. Continental improves to 4-1 and will host Ottoville on Tuesday. Lima Central Catholic falls to 1-3.
